BRSODH "Bahagia" Holds Capacity Building for Independent Business Program
SIMALUNGUN (March 6th 2020) - At the Parapat View Hotel, Simalungun Regency, an Independent Business Program Capacity Building Activity was carried out.
This activity is part of a series of providing self-reliance assistance to Person with HIV/AIDS (ODHA) in Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra.
In his presentation, the Head of BRSODH "Bahagia" in Medan, Sumarno Sri Wibowo conveyed the procedures and mechanisms for providing independence assistance, assistance up to the reporting stage. Also attending was Assistant Government and Social Welfare of Simalungun Regency, Mr. Rizal E.P. Saragih, AP, M.Si, who gave directions to the ranks of agencies under the auspices of the Simalungun Regency Government to continue to support and provide assistance to recipients of self-reliance business assistance.
He said that with the program launched by BRSODH "Bahagia" in Medan, the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, it is hoped that it will not only empower the economy of ODHA but can have a good influence on the community regarding people's perceptions of the stigma accepted by ODHA.
Activities attended by the Social Service of North Sumatra Province, Social Services Agency of Simalungun Regency, Simalungun District Health Office, Pematang Siantar City Social Services Agency, Pematang Siantar City Health Service, Simalungun Regency Regional AIDS Commission and Simalungun Support Peer Support Group will be continued with social activities skills to the recipients of self-reliance assistance as many as 50 (fifty) ODHA in Simalungun Regency.
