Bulukumba Physical Disabilities Receive Business Independence Assistance
MAKASSAR (December 16th 2019) - Efforts to improve social functioning and business independence for persons with physical disabilities is the focus of attention of the "Wirajaya" Social Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Physical Disabilities (BRSPDF) in Makassar. This seriousness is shown through the program of delivering aid aimed (Bantu) for persons with physical disabilities. A total of 11 people with physical disabilities received self-reliance efforts, and 4 people received assistive tools in the form of sticks, the handover was carried out in the Kambuno Village Office Hall, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi.
Symbolically for the handover of business independence, the Head of BRSPDF "Wirajaya", Syaiful Samad was present to hand over the assistance received by the Head of Kambuno Village, Syahrullah. Meanwhile, for the handover of aids in the form of sticks, assistance from BRSPDF Wirajaya was received by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bulukumba Regency, A.Bau Amal.
In his speech, Syaiful Samad emphasized that this assistance was part of a social rehabilitation program carried out outside the center. This assistance is also a motivation for the residents of Kambuno Village, who are actively encouraging Kambuno Village to become an inclusive village initiated in a participatory manner.
"Providing assistance is a form of BRSPDF "Wirajaya" concern in supporting Kambuno to become an Inclusion Village, as well as this is a form of BRSPDF "Wirajaya" attention to the success of the 2020 National Inclusion Gathering which is planned to be centered in Kambuno Village," said Syaiful in his speech.
Meanwhile the Regional Secretary of Bulukumba, A.Bau Amal gave his appreciation to BRSPDF "Wirajaya" which is very concerned about improving the social functioning of persons with disabilities in Bulukumba district. In fact, he hopes that the synergy of the program can continue to exist between the Bulukumba district government and BRSPDF "Wirajaya".
