Call for Preparedness and Simulation of Disaster Management at the Declaration of KSB in Subang Regency
SUBANG (February 17, 2022) - The Ministry of Social Affairs facilitated the establishment of Disaster Alert Villages (KSB) in two sub-districts in Subang Regency, namely Pamanukan Subdistrict and Kasomalang Subdistrict, which are often hit by annual floods. A number of residents from the two sub-districts were provided with briefing and training in order to increase disaster preparedness according to the characteristics of their area.
The Call for Disaster Preparedness and Simulation for Disaster Management, as well as the Inauguration of KSB in Pamanukan and Kasomalang Districts, Subang Regency, was attended by the Director General of Social Protection and Security, Pepen Nazaruddin along with members of Commission VIII DPR RI, Maman Imanul Haq and Acting Director of Social Protection for Victims of Natural Disasters, Iyan Kusmadiyana, Thursday (17/2).
