Caring for Beneficiaries with Serious and Rare Diseases, the MoSA and Kitabisa.com Distribute Donations and ATENSI Assistance

MAKASSAR (March 1, 2023) - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini provided Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) assistance and donations from kitabisa.com to 5 beneficiary children who were sick or had serious/rare illnesses named Firal, Perol, Arika Salsabila, Warni, and Riski Ibrahim, at the "Wirajaya" Center in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Wednesday afternoon (1/3).

The total amount of Kitabisa.com donations that have been collected is IDR314,089,861 used for medical operational costs and other costs that are not covered by BPJS/PBI-JKN. Meanwhile, ATENSI assistance is worth a total of IDR402,299,600, - which was given in addition to the 5 children who received donations, and was also given to the families of 2 victims of sexual violence in Bone Regency and Pinrang Regency by the “Nipotowe” Center in Palu, “Meohai” Center in Kendari, “Pangurangi” Center in Takalar, “Gau Mabaji” Center in Gowa, and Makassar Social Welfare Education and Training Center (BBPPKS) to fulfill basic needs, nutrition, milk, vitamins, equipment schools, educational aids and games, psychosocial support services, parenting, assistance during the treatment process, as well as repairs to uninhabitable houses (Integrated Welfare Houses) and entrepreneurial capital assistance.

The event was attended by the representatives from kitabisa.com Rizky, Special Staff to the Minister for Communication and Mass Media Don Rozano Sigit Prakoeswa, Director General of Social Rehabilitation Pepen Nazaruddin, Director General of Social Protection and Security Robben Rico, Director of Child Social Rehabilitation Kanya Eka Santi, Acting Director of Social Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities / Head of Palu "Nipotowe" Center Nursyamsu, Head of Makassar BBPPKS Anna Puspasari, Head of "Wirajaya" Center in Makassar Heru Cahyono, Head of "Gau Mabaji" Center in Gowa Subhan Kadir, Head of "Pangurangi" Center in Takalar Nur Alam, and Head "Meohai" Center in Kendari Budi Cahyono.
