Commission VIII of DPR RI Reviews the Public Kitchen of the Ministry of Social Affairs for COVID-19 Emergency Handling
JAKARTA (July 1, 2021) - Thursday morning (1/7), Member of Commission VIII DPR RI, Ina Ammania with the Director General of Social Protection and Security (Linjamsos), Pepen Nazaruddin, visited the Ministry of Social Affairs' Field Public Kitchen which serves food needs in the context of handling COVID -19 is centered in the Kalibata National Heroes Cemetery (TMPNU). This public kitchen operates following government regulations regarding the Implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in Java-Bali.
Accompanied by the Director of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims (PSKBA), M. Safii Nasution, Director of Social Protection for Social Disaster Victims (PSKBS), Sunarti, Director of Family Social Security (JSK), Rahmat Koesnadi and Director of Heroism, Pioneering, Solidarity and Social Restoration (K2KRS), Joko Irianto, and the Director of Remote Indigenous Communities (KAT), Laode Taufik, Ina reviewed the cooking process, until the food was packaged before being distributed to a number of places in Jakarta.
On this occasion, a symbolic handover of aid worth IDR 179 million for the handling of victims of natural disasters in Ngawi Regency was also carried out, which contained a red and white multipurpose family tent, velbed, mattress and blanket.
