JAMBI (March 17, 2020) - COVID-19, an abbreviation of Corona Virus Disease 2019, is a disease caused by a viral infection established by the World Health Organization in 2019. The virus, which was first identified in 2019 in Wuhan, China, has become a pandemic and has taken many lives.

There is no need to be panicked or afraid of this virus. Instead, we have to be absolutely vigilant and follow the instructions set by the government. Various recommendations have been announced by the government through the Indonesian Ministry of Health.

This morning, Doctor Novy Anna and Nurse Fika Yoeza gave practical education on corona virus to the beneficiaries (PPKS). The children were already familiar with it because the news was everywhere. Dr. Anna, told the children about the corona virus, how it spreaded, and how to prevent it.

It is important that the children know about it even though they aren't in the affected area. The potential presence of COVID-19 is always there. The distribution data of the viral infection is increasing constantly. Prevention is better than cure. That's what the Alyatama Children's Center did to protect the beneficiaries from the threat of COVID-19.

Imron Rosadi, the Head of the Children's Center "Alyatama", also told the employees and the beneficiaries on the same matter after the midday prayer. Imron highlighted the important things that must be addressed at the place of worship by rolling up the carpet, replacing it with a prayer mat, bringing their own mukena or sarong and maintaining cleanliness in ablution place.
