BIMA (December 10, 2021) - The Director General of Social Protection and Security (Linjamsos) and her entourage reviewed the impact of damage to facilities and infrastructure due to the Bima flood. One of the damages was found in 1 unit of the broken bridge in East Jatibaru Village, Asakota District, Bima, precisely in front of Jatibaru Terminal. The incident occurred after heavy rains flushed the Bima area, causing the Jatibaru and Kendo rivers to overflow. The water level observed ranged from 10 to 100 cm.

The impact of other damage was found in 1 unit of a broken embankment in Lewirato Village, Mpunda District, Bima. In addition, the Director General of Linjamsos together with his entourage also visited one of the bare hills which was claimed to be one of the causes of the flooding.
