Director General of Social Rehabilitation: Social Rehabilitation System Immediately Turns to Network Base

DENPASAR (December 14th 2019) - Director General of Social Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Edi Suharto, opened the activity "Increasing Employee Capacity in Implementing Advanced Social Rehabilitation Programs" which was attended by 150 employees of BBRSPDF "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta and "Program Synchronization Advanced Social Rehabilitation and Budget for 2020” which was attended by 30 employees of BBRSPDI "Kartini" Temanggung at Kuta Central Park Hotel, Denpasar - Bali.

In his speech, Edi Suharto emphasized how the implementation of the Progress 5.0 New Platform which must be implemented by all UPT Director General of Social Rehabilitation in Indonesia. Each UPT must be able to adapt to increasingly complex social problems so that they are able to innovate in efforts to deal with these social problems along with the 4.0 industrial revolution.

Each center is also required to leave the old work culture as it was when it was based on orphanages. One of these changes is the function of the center as program coordinator. "Each center is required to be able to cooperate with LKS in Indonesia to improve advanced social rehabilitation services. The social rehabilitation system will immediately switch to Networking Base. In addition, each center is also expected to create web / application-based services to facilitate advanced social rehabilitation services. for the community," said Edi.

Activities to Increase Employee Capacity in the Implementation of the Advanced Social Rehabilitation Program carried out by BBRSPDF "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta will last for four days on 14-17 December 2019. Through this activity it is hoped that HR competence in implementing Progress 5.0 NP will increase and synergy among employees can always be maintained.

Meanwhile, the Synchronization of the Advanced Social Rehabilitation Program and the 2020 Budget for BBRSPDI "Kartini" Temanggung which was held on 13-16 December 2019 aims to synchronize all advanced social rehabilitation programs for persons with intellectual disabilities in the next six months by 2020.
