Discussion on the Key Indicators of the Social Functioning Index (IKS)
BANDUNG (26 November 2019) - Edi Suharto, Director General of Social Rehabilitation of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, in his direction at the Discussion on Key Social Function Indicators (IKS), at the Four Points by Sheraton Bandung, said that the variable criteria and indicators are valid, can be trusted (reliable), comparable, available data, and key indicators.
Advanced Social Functioning indicators include social capability and social responsibility. Starting with the agreement of the participants to focus on the results, identify the characteristics of each cluster, identify instruments that have been reviewed to be revised in order to produce instruments that can provide a measure of the success of Social Rehabilitation performance in particular, and the Ministry of Social Affairs in general.
Through this activity, it is hoped that the success of formulating an instrument that can present actual data as the responsibility of the Ministry of Social Affairs to the state and society, in providing social rehabilitation to Social Welfare Services Recipients (PPKS) through a Holistic, Systematic and Standardized Intervention process to develop social functions (functional capabilities) ) so that PPKS can return to society (back to society).
The discussion that took place at the Four Season Hotel Bandung, 26-27 November 2019 was attended by 25 participants, namely Lecturers for Social Welfare from Padjajaran University, Lecturers of the Bandung Social Welfare Polytechnic and the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation.
