Distribution of Aid for Flood Affected Residents in Serang
SERANG (March 1, 2022) - Chairman of Commission VIII DPR RI Yandri Susanto together with the Director General of Social Protection and Security, Pepen Nazaruddin handed over assistance to affected residents in 3 flood-affected locations in Serang City, Banten, namely in Kaujon District, Margasari District and Dranggong District, Tuesday (1/3).
The logistical assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs sent from Bekasi Warehouse was distributed in two stages. The first stage consists of 600 packages of ready-to-eat food, 400 packages of children's food, 400 packages of ready-to-eat side dishes, 200 packages of family kits, 50 rolled tents, 200 blankets, 200 mattresses, 30 boxes of bottled drinking water, and 2 multipurpose tents units.
Meanwhile, the second phase of assistance consisted of 600 packages of ready-to-eat food, 400 packages of children's food, 400 packages of ready-to-eat side dishes, 200 packages of family kits, 50 sheets of rolled tents, 200 sheets of blankets, 200 mattresses, 30 boxes of bottled drinking water, 2 units of multipurpose tents, 300 packages of adult clothing, 2 family tents, and 500 packages of basic necessities.
