Anticipating the Jakarta Flood, Ministry of Social Affairs Ensures the Readiness of the Field Public Kitchen

JAKARTA (3 November 2020) - After conducting a coordination meeting for flood preparation with the City Government of East and South Jakarta Administration, on the same day, the Director of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims (PSKBA), M. Safii Nasution, together with the Heads of the Subdirectorate (Kasubdit) of PSKBA, and Deputy Aster Koppasus, Lieutenant Colonel Irfan Amir, visited the location of the Field Public Kitchen (Dumlap) in each region, Tuesday (3/11).

The visit was intended to review the extent of Dumlap's readiness, including its Human Resources (HR), in supplying, providing and cooking logistics to meet the basic needs of refugees during floods, which are expected to occur at the end of 2020 or early next year.
