On the occasion of the FGD, Kanya Eka Santi explained about the Protection Policy for Vulnerable Families, accompanied by examples of cases of “vulnerable households” that caused children to become victims.

"The children of the weakest party in the family are often victims. The bruise will disappear, but the pain will still be felt. Emotions are managed, not vented. Don't sacrifice children! " said Kanya.

Furthermore, Kanya said that family resilience is an important factor in realizing the resilience of the nation and state, because it must have a strong legal basis, Law No. 52 of 2009 on Population Development and Family Development is considered inadequate anymore, because it tends to discuss population control, not yet. focus on discussing family resilience. The Bill on Family Resilience is needed so that Indonesian children will no longer be victims of broken family relationships that lead to depression and fading of neighborhood relationships.

"The Bill on Family Resilience is based on the spirit of prevention, protection and rehabilitation of Indonesian families as a whole as the foundation for the nation's resilience and civilization," concluded Kanya.
