JAKARTA (March 21, 2022) - Following up on the Decree of the Minister of Social Affairs Number: 124/HUK/2021, today (21/3), the Ministry of Social Affairs held a joint meeting with the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Kemenkopolhukam). The meeting, which was held at the Kemenkopolhukam office, was attended by the Director General of Social Protection and Security (Linjamsos), Pepen Nazaruddin, who was accompanied by the Director of Social Protection of Social Disaster Victims (PSKBS), Harapan Lumban Gaol. Meanwhile, present representing the Kemenkopolhukam, namely the Deputy for Coordination of Law and Human Rights, Sugeng Purnomo, accompanied by the Assistant Deputy for Law Enforcement, Desy Meutia.

In the meeting, which was a follow-up to the decision of the Minister of Social Affairs regarding the handling of refugees from the Maluku riots, the Ministry of Social Affairs together with the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs discussed the plan for a meeting to be held with the panel team to propose representatives as a technical team, which would later be tasked with implementing the Minister of Social Affairs' decision. Related to this, Kemenkopolhukam wants the Ministry of Social Affairs, as the head of the panel team, to immediately initiate the first meeting of the panel team which will be held in the near future.
