JAKARTA (March 29th, 2021) - Deputy Chairman of Commission VIII DPR RI as Chair of the Working Committee of Commission VIII DPR RI, Tb. Ace Hasan Syadzily, leads the consignment for the continuation of the Draft Law on Disaster Management in Jakarta, Monday (29/3).

In the consignment that involved the Head of the Government Working Committee from the Ministry of Social Affairs, Pepen Nazaruddin, together with the Deputy Chair of the Government Working Committee, Adhy Karyono, Ace asked the Government Working Committee to consolidate the position of the Panja Commission VIII DPR RI at the Minister/Institution level meeting. The attitude Ace referred to is the strengthening of disaster management institutions in the DIM RUU PB so that it is clearly stated.

Beside the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Government Working Committee was also attended by related Ministries/Agencies, including National Disaster Management Agency, Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, Ministry of State Secretary, Ministry of PPPA, and Ministry of Finance.
