Happy with Braille House "Abiyoso"

CIMAHI (December 5th 2019) - Anniversary of the 58th "Abiyoso" Indonesian Braille Literacy Center (BLBI), which is also a series of commemoration of International Disability Day (HDI) December 3rd 2019, is celebrated by holding a number of activities at the "Abiyoso" BLBI office,  Jl. Kerkhof No. 21, Leuwigajah, Cimahi Selatan, Cimahi City. The activity entitled "Happy with Braille House" was organized by BLBI "Abiyoso" in collaboration with the Abiyoso Reader Community and supported by several sponsors.

Carrying the theme of  "Inclusive Indonesia, Superior Disability of the visual", the "Abiyoso" BLBI Anniversary this time involved a variety of stakeholders, particularly from people with sensory disabilities as the beneficiaries of this Institute. With the vision of "Realizing Equality for Persons with visual Sensory Disabilities through Accessible Literacy", BLBI "Abiyoso" needs to build harmonious relations with all parties in an effort to improve the literacy ability of people with visual sensory disabilities.

This year's "Abiyoso" BLBI Anniversary was attended by the Director General of Social Rehabilitation of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, Edi Suharto, as well as West Java Provincial Government, Cimahi City Government, National Library, LIPI, Worldwide Quality Assurance (WQA), Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Visual Sensory Disabilities of the Ministry of Social Affairs , SLB in Cimahi and surrounding areas, Community of people with visual sensory disabilities with a number of +/- 200 people.

In his remarks Edi Suharto expressed his appreciation for the BLBI "Abiyoso" Cimahi who had done a lot of innovation. He was very impressed with the mention of the "Abiyoso" BLBI as the Braille House. Besides his interest in the network that has been developed by BLBI "Abiyoso", among others, with the National Library of Indonesia, LIPI, WQA and Hasannudin University.

The series of activities for the CIBahi "Abiyoso" BLBI Anniversary held on Thursday, December 5th  2019 were Whispering Cinemas, NP 5.0 Branding, ISSN Submission, ISBN Submission, ISO 9001: 2015 Certificate Submission, and Launching of the Car Audio Library (AML) Application.
