JAKARTA (April 16th 2020) - Today Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) who are at the Balai "Mulya Jaya" Jakarta are sent back to their home areas for East Java. This returning home was carried out after carrying out routine health checks according to protocol and Rapid Test with negative COVID-19 results for all PMIs.


This returning home will be carried out in several stages based on the departure schedule. At this stage I, there were 26 PMI repatriated people.


Head of the "Mulya Jaya" Center in Jakarta, Juena Sitepu, who was accompanied by the Head of the Social Assessment and Advocacy Section, Agung Santoso, gave a briefing prior to PMI's departure to Soekarno Hatta Airport.


"We, from the hall, would like to thank for the cooperation while being here and apologize for any shortcomings. Hopefully all of you are healthy and safe until you reach their respective destinations and can reunite with your family," said Juena.


During the health monitoring process up to PMI's return, the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Balai "Mulya Jaya" in cooperation with the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency after this return, hopefully that all PMIs can continue to be healthy and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in their respective areas.
