BIMA REGENCY (5 April 2021) - After high intensity rain flushed Bima Regency, NTB Province, since last Friday (2/4), dams in Madapangga, Bolo, Woha and Monta Districts was no longer able to accommodate water discharge so that it overflowed and inundated rice fields, as well as the surrounding residents' villages.

On Monday afternoon (5/4), Social Minister Tri Rismaharini arrived in Bima Regency to inspect a number of points affected by the flood, as well as to distribute aid in the form of children's food, ready-to-eat food, mattresses, blankets, and sanitary napkins to residents with a total amount of aid. Meanwhile, on Tuesday morning (6/4), Social Minister Risma left for East Adonara, East Flores Regency, NTT Province, to inspect locations affected by flash floods and ensured the availability of logistics, as well as public kitchens to meet the basic needs of residents.
