PALEMBANG (November 6, 2019) - The Prosperous People Poverty Surgery Joint Business Group (KUBE BEKERJA) is a program launched to meet the need for eggs for areas where the supply of these commodities is lacking. KUBE BEKERJA is a breakthrough implemented jointly between the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture which was legalized through a Cooperation Agreement signed by each minister in 2018.

The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Directorate General of Poverty Handling (Ditjen PFM) carried out KUBE BEKERJA Assistance Technical Guidance Activities and Social Assistance Distribution Consolidation in 2019. Activities with the tagline "Work Smart, Hard, and Thoroughly for the Welfare of the Poor" are organized by the Directorate of Poverty Handling Regional I, under leadership of Mr. AM. Asnandar as Director in charge of all provinces in Sumatra and West Java.

This activity presented 150 participants consisting of the Social Service, Livestock and Agriculture Service and KUBE Assistants in South Sumatra Province. As a form of strengthening the KUBE BEKERJA assistants who were filled not only with sources from the Ministry of Social Affairs but also the Ministry of Agriculture.

The Director General of Poverty Handling (Dirjen PFM) said cities such as Batam or certain areas on the island of Sulawesi are examples of cities that do not have the resources to meet the egg needs for their region.

On this occasion, the Director General of PFM expressed his hope that with this activity, Beneficiary Families (KPM) and KUBE Assistants throughout Indonesia could generate additional, sustainable income for the future. "hopefully that this program can increase the KPM's income and at the same time help KPM to graduate so that it does not need to receive social assistance anymore," said the Director General of PFM.

With the presence of this program, the Director General of PFM also hopes that the socio-economic development for KUBE members, where the need for eggs can be met and KPM can accelerate the graduation process from poverty.
