Minister of Social Affairs Visits Masamba Flood Victims and Brings IDR 2 Billion as the Assistance
MASAMBA (17 July 2020) - In the midst of his activity with social assistance (bansos) batch II, the Minister of Social Affairs, Juliari P. Batubara, still has to deal with the flash flood that hit Masamba, South Sulawesi Province. The Minister of Social Affairs visited the flood victims in Masamba, North Luwu Regency to ensure their needs were met on Friday (17/7).
Until now, the assistance provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs has reached 2 billion rupiah. This amount consists of logistical assistance, cleaning equipment and compensation for victims who died to 23 heirs.
The arrival of the Minister of Social Affairs to North Luwu Regency was accompanied by the Director General of Social Protection and Security, Pepen Nazaruddin and the Director of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims (PSKBA), M. Safii Nasution and was welcomed by the Regent of North Luwu, Indah Putri Indriani.
