JAKARTA (16 December 2020) - As a form of preparedness to face the impacts of La Nina, the Director of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims (PSKBA), M. Safii Nasution, handed over natural disaster equipment in the form of 2 units of multipurpose red and white tents, equipped with dividers for prevention. COVID-19, and 1 boat unit to the Jaya Regional Military Commander (Pangdam), Maj. Gen. Dudung Abdurrachman, at the Jaya Jayakarta Military Command, Wednesday (16/12).

The provision of equipment assistance is a follow-up to a meeting between the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Pangdam Jaya last November which discussed various possible impacts and anticipatory steps from the La Nina incident, especially the DKI Jakarta flood, which is expected to occur at the end of December or early January next year.
