Ministry of Social Affairs TRC for Social Rehabilitation Conducts Advanced Social Service
JAKARTA (January 6th 2020) - Social Service (Baksos) carried out by the Ministry of Social Affairs' Quick Reponses Team (TRC) in the field of Social Rehabilitation today is a further social service for the third location that was severely affected by flooding because it was right on the edge of the Ciliwung river. The area covered is the Refugee Command Post at the Bidara Cina Village Office, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.
The Ministry of Social Affairs TRC in the field of Social Rehabilitation carried out Social Assistance in the form of providing basic needs assistance, peer group children's games, counseling, and ice breaking to victims affected by the New Year floods, especially children from around 400 refugees consisting of toddlers and elderly , and the rest of adulthood.
Assistance with basic needs includes baby pampers, mineral water, biscuits, instant noodles, milk, and clothes suitable for use. Secretary of Bidara Cina Urban Village, Hj. Sri Mulyati expressed her gratitude for the assistance given, when she received the aid symbolically. "Alhamdulillah, from the 7 refugee points, it has now been reduced to 2 refugee points and the rest can return home and join other families. We will be entrusted with providing this assistance based on existing data," he said.
