Monitoring the Distribution of Social Assistance, Commission VIII of DPR RI Visits Banten
SERANG (30 June 2020) - Commission VIII of Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) chaired by Yandri Susanto along with the Director General of Social Protection and Security, Pepen Nazaruddin conducted a Specific Work Visit (Kunsfik) Evaluation of the Implementation of Social Assistance Distribution in Banten Province, Tuesday (30/6).
The activity was carried out in the framework of the supervision of Commission VIII of DPR RI on non-cash social assistance provided by the government related to the impact of COVID-19. The supervision covers the target recipients and the social assistance distribution mechanism, to the obstacles faced by the government in the distribution process, including the accuracy of data on social assistance recipients so that they are right on target and do not overlap.
Kunsfik was also marked by the agenda of handing over the award certificate to Prosperous and Independent Family Beneficiaries Graduates (KPM Graduasi Sejahtera Berdikari), assistance for children with achievement of Family Hope Program (PKH), as well as PKH and Cash Social Assistance (BST) assistance for Serang City. The meeting was also attended by the Director of Family Social Security (JSK), Assistant I to the Regional Secretary of Banten Province, the Mayor of Serang, the Social Service of Serang City, and the Association of Indonesian Village Governments (APDESI).
