Recess Working Visit of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Commission VIII DPR RI in Balikpapan
BALIKPAPAN (February 17, 2023) - Secretary General of the Ministry of Social Affairs Harry Hikmat accompanied Commission VIII DPR-RI during a Work Visit for Recess for Session Period III for the 2022-2023 Session Year in Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan Province. The delegation of Commission VIII DPR-RI led by Deputy Chairman of the Commission Moekhlas Sidik and 8 other members were received by the Assistant for General Administration of East Kalimantan Province, Riza Indra Riadi.
At the meeting, a total of IDR 827,569,000 was handed over to Social Assistance consisting of Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) assistance for the disabled and the elderly, food packages and logistical assistance for disaster preparedness for the people of East Kalimantan Province. Also present were other Ministries/Institutions under the scope of work of Commission VIII DPR RI such as the Ministry of Religion, Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, BNPB, BPKH, Baznas, and BWI.
