Recess Working Visit of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Commission VIII DPR RI in Langkat
LANGKAT (February 17, 2023) - The Director General of Social Empowerment of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs Edi Suharto accompanied the Working Visit of the Commission VIII DPR RI Recess Session Period III Session Year 2022-2023 led by Commission Deputy Chair Marwan Dasopang along with 8 other Members in Langkat Regency, Sumatra Province North, Friday afternoon (17/2). During the visit, social assistance was handed over totaling IDR739,458,985 consisting of Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) assistance in the form of tricycle motorbike assistance, hearing aids, wheelchairs, and entrepreneurship assistance for persons with disabilities in Langkat Regency.
The event was also attended by the Acting Regent of Langkat Regent Syah Afandi, Secretary of Langkat Regency Amril, Director of Potential and Social Resources of the Ministry of Social Affairs Raden Rasman, Acting Director of Natural Disasters of the Ministry of Social Affairs Adrianus Alla, Head of the Bahagia Center in Medan Iman Imanuddin, Head of the Langkat Regency Religion Office, Head of the Langkat Regency BNPB, Head of the North Sumatra Ministry of Religion Office, Head of the North Sumatra Social Service and the Langkat Regency Forkompinda.
