SUBANG (February 25, 2021) - Director-General of Poverty Handling, Asep Sasa Purnama hopes that the Staple Food Program / BPNT can run on the 6 principles. "The hope is that the implementation of the basic food program can run on the 6 principles, right on target, on quantity, on time, on price, on quality and administration", said the Director General during a working visit to Subang Regency (25/02).

The working visit of the Director-General of Poverty Handling to Subang Regency was carried out to review the progress of the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS) validation at the Subang District Office of Social Services. DTKS is a reference for the provision of the Basic Food Program / BPNT and Cash Social Assistance (BST) for Beneficiary Families.

In his review, it is known that efforts to improve data in Subang Regency have reached 70%. This was done to improve DTKS to make it more valid. "Efforts to repair DTKS have reached more than 70%, therefore verification and validation of data needs to be carried out routinely by the Village through Village-level Discussion" said the Director-General of Poverty Handling. The review was continued with a meeting with Acting. Regional Secretary of Subang Regency, H. Asep Nuroni at the Regional Secretariat Office of Subang Regency.

Asep Nuroni stated that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the distribution of the Basic Food and BST Programs was carried out with strict Health Protocols by maintaining distance, using masks, and washing hands. "The implementation of health protocols is carried out to keep people healthy and avoid the Covid-19 Pandemic," he said. Besides Asep, the Secretary of the Subang Regency Social Service, Hadith Sukendar, and the Regional Coordinator of the Subang Staple Food Program, Dwi also attended the meeting.
