Salemba 28 Forum Regarding the Sustainability of the Food Program for Single Elderly and Persons with Disabilities
JAKARTA (June 23, 2023) - The Ministry of Social Affairs is holding the Salemba 28 Forum with the theme "Continuation of the Food Program for Single Elderly and Persons with Disabilities". The food program is one of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini's breakthroughs in an effort to alleviate poverty and social protection. The Ministry of Social Affairs has designated 100,000 single elderly people spread throughout the country to receive food assistance in FY 2023.
Present on this occasion were the Director General of Social Rehabilitation Pepen Nazaruddin, Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation Salahuddin Yahya, Young Expert Social Counselor at Director of Social Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities Feri Afrianto, and DKI Jakarta Community Groups. Also present were representatives of 20 media who actively partnered in reporting within the Ministry of Social Affairs.
