Social Affairs Minister Checks Logistics Readiness and Availability at Baleendah Social Granaries
BANDUNG REGENCY (January 8, 2022) - Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini with Deputy Chairperson of Commission VIII DPR RI, TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily and Deputy Regent of Bandung, Sahrul Gunawan review the readiness and availability of logistics stored in the social granaries of the Baleendah Village Office, Baleendah District, Bandung Regency, Saturday afternoon (8/1).
The selection of the social granary in that location was based on the consideration that the Multipurpose Building, Baleendah Village, was often used as a refugee location when floods inundated the Baleendah Subdistrict and its surroundings.
To the Director General of Social Protection Security, Pepen Nazaruddin, Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security, Robben Rico, and plt. The Director of PSKBA, Iyan Kusmadiana, Social Affairs Minister emphasized that the establishment of a social granary does not have to be based on an administrative basis in one location.
"It doesn't have to be in just one location. Sometimes a disaster can happen to not only 1 village, but to 2 or more villages. So, if suddenly access (to the social granary) is blocked, you can refer to another location (of social granary)," she said to her staff.
