GUNUNGKIDUL (November 21, 2022) - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini together with Member of Commission VIII DPR RI My Esti Wijayati inaugurated the Integrated Water Treatment Plant in Dukuh Pakrandu, Gombang Village, Ponjong District, Gunungkidul. This installation is part of the Social Harmony program.

This program is provided as a solution for Gombang Village residents who are experiencing difficulties with clean water sources. In addition, the Ministry of Social Affairs also provided empowerment assistance in the form of 20 goats and sorghum plant seeds that could be used as animal feed. The Minister of Social Affairs also promised that the Ministry of Social Affairs would also build water channels to distribute clean water to the seven other hamlets in Gombang Village if the water discharge was sufficient.

During her visit, the Minister of Social Affairs was also accompanied by the Regent of Gunungkidul Sunaryanta, Chairperson of the Gunungkidul DPRD Endah Subekti Kuntariningsih and PSKBSNA Director Mira Riyati Kurniasih.
