Social Minister Convey the Important Role of Social Welfare Human Resource

YOGYAKARTA (October 16th, 2019) - Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita visited Yogyakarta Center for Social Welfare Education and Training (BBPPKS) on Wednesday (10/16).

The arrival of the Minister of Social Affairs was accompanied by the Head of the Education, Research, and Social Counseling Board (Badiklitpensos) Prof. Syahabuddin and officials within the Ministry of Social Affairs were warmly welcomed by the chairperson and the employees with a handshake. Beside BBPPKS Yogyakarta internal, there were participants from FDS training program and Independent Integrated service recipient family (KPM) welcomed the Minister of Social Affairs.

In addition to reviewing each Social Minister's location and room as well as attending Diklat Family Development Session (FDS) PKH facilitator that was held at the Yogyakarta BBPPKS campus.

The presence of Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita was greeted by happy shouts of all employees and participants of the Education and Training program because they met with the number one person in the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The Minister of Social Affairs congratulate and very high appreciate the PKH facilitator who had accompanied KPM so that PKH beneficiaries dared to step forward to become an Independent Integrated KPM.

"The role of Social Welfare HR is very meaningful for the Government and the community in the success of quality and sustainable social welfare programs," said the Minister of Social Affairs

"The Ministry of Social Affairs has many sources and potential institutional and human resources in the field of education and development of social welfare that are qualified through the Social Research and Counseling Education Agency which has technical implementation units spread in every region in Indonesia," explained the Minister

On this occasion the Minister of Social Affairs gave the Independent Graduation Certificate to the beneficiary families (KPM) and hope the family program that had been independent.

On the same occasion, the Head of Education, Research, and Social Counseling Board said, "The KPM Mandiri that we present at the moment is one part of the successful achievement of the target outcomes carried out by the Social Welfare Education and Training Center in order to realize competent and high-performing Social Welfare Human Resources in the success of the Social Welfare Development Program," said Syahabuddin.
