BATANGHARI (March 16, 2022) - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini accompanied by Director General of Social Empowerment Edi Suharto symbolically handed over assistance to Anak Dalam Tribe at Sungai Terab, Jelutih Village, Batin XXIV District, Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province. The total aid is worth around Rp576 million.

The assistance provided was in the form of a community centre from SKK Migas-PetroChina International Jabung Ltd CSR program, clean water facilities and communal toilets in 2 locations, children's playground, solar cell, sound system, library, and other equipment. In addition, the assistances are from Domestic Grants that consist of 40-inch TVs and packages for child nutrition, family staples, family equipment and agricultural seeds for 132 SAD families. Other cross-sectoral such as 200 educational books from PT Gramedia Asri Media Jambi, and free health services from Inner XXIV Health Centre.

The Minister Risma also inaugurated a community centre that will be used as a place for SAD children to study and to receive a health service. The Minister of Social Affairs continued his visit to the location of planting durian, avocado, and rambutan seeds on the land of SAD residents.
