WEST BANGKA (December 19, 2021) - The Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, inspected the location of RS-Rutilahu in Tanjung Village, Muntok District, West Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The visit was one of a series of activities for the National Social Solidarity Day (HKSN) organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands (19/12).

 

The Minister of Social Affairs directly inspected several houses of beneficiaries of the Social Rehabilitation of Uninhabitable Houses (RS-Rutilahu) in the Sub District. In addition to reviewing, she also provides suggestions and recommendations regarding the architecture of building houses to become more robust and efficient in the use of building materials.

 

RS-Rutilahu is a program of the Directorate General of Poverty Handling (PFM) where currently in Bangka Belitung it is allocated to 50 beneficiaries with details of 25 beneficiaries in West Bangka Regency and 25 beneficiaries in South Bangka Regency. The nominal assistance provided is Rp. 20 million/beneficiary so that the total assistance at RS-Rutilahu in Bangka Belitung is Rp. 1 billion.

 

After visiting several houses of beneficiaries of RS-Rutilahu Hospital, the Minister of Social Affairs also saw the surrounding environment which is the coast. He provided recommendations related to the construction of environmental infrastructure facilities on the coast to stem rising sea levels that could cause tidal flooding.

 

Present on the occasion were the Governor of the Bangka Belitung Islands, Erzaldi Rosman, the Regent of Bangka Belitung, Sukirman, the Deputy Regent of West Bangka, Bong Ming Ming, the Regent of Bangka Induk, Mulkan, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Harry Hikmat, the Director General of PFM, Asep Sasa Purnama, the Director General of Social Empowerment, Edi Suharto, as well as social pillars who were also present at the event.
