BANJARBARU (December 19th 2019) - Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Edi Suharto accompanied the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Juliari P. Batubara on a Reflection Night of Social Solidarity at the Idham Chalid Auditorium Building, South Kalimantan Governor Office Complex tonight.

On this occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs expressed his gratitude for the support of all parties in organizing a series of HKSN activities in 2019.

The Minister of Social hopes that Social Solidarity is celebrated every day, because if all people strengthen the value of social solidarity, the state will also be strong in facing all challenges.

"The country will progress if its people are loyal to each other. In essence, we must be able to transform the value of solidarity to the next generation. Millennials must be greater than us. It is superior human resources that can lift our country to become winners," said the Minister of Social Affairs.

Currently there are still many regions that depend on the center. In the future, through superior human resources it is hoped that the regions can be more advanced, independent.

Shown on this reflection night the Mahatmiya Band, a group band of Visual Sensory Disabilities  fostered by the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation in Bali. This band has won the best seven music festivals in Bali competing with non-disabled professional bands. Nanda is a 12-year-old Visual Sensory Disabilities who has been drumming non-stop 2 hours 15 minutes accompanied by 4 band groups. They brought a special song that was composed and sung by Nando.

Let's celebrate National Social Solidarity Day 2019, throughout the archipelago for a more advanced Indonesia.
