Social Welfare Training Center Prepare Online Training Guideline
JAKARTA (March 30, 2020) - The outbreak of Corona Virus Disease in 2019 (COVID-19) and the stipulation as a pandemic have caused a number of parties to take quick and strategic steps to anticipate its spread and impact. The step was also taken by the Education, Research and Social Counseling Agency (BP3S) which is one of the Echelon I Work Units under the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs.
One of the tasks and functions of BP3S is to coordinate and take policies related to the implementation of education and training (Education and Training) including Family Development Training Session (FDS) or also called Family Ability Improvement Meeting (P2K2). It is planned that in 2020 this education and training will be carried out to 12,000 Family Assistance Program (PKH) Social Assistance.
The P2K2 / FDS PKH Training Program has been carried out so far through blended learning, which integrates learning in the online and offline system.
But given the current COVID-19 pandemic, based on the Social Minister Circular No. 2 of 2020 and Circular Letter of the Head of BP3S No. 2 of 2020 so that the policy was issued that all implementation of education in the BP3S environment is done purely online without face to face to reduce the spread of COVID- 19
To support the implementation of the PKH Online P2K2 / FDS Training, now the BP3S and the Social Welfare Training Center as the coordinator of the Regional I-VI Social Welfare Training and Training Center (BBPPKS) are preparing their implementation guidelines.
The discussion was carried out by utilizing technological advancements, namely using the Zoom application to conduct video conferences along with work units within BP3S.
