MAKASSAR (March 8, 2022) - Families of victims who died as a result of a riot that caused a fire at an entertainment venue in Sorong City, Papua Barat, received compensation for their heirs from the Ministry of Social Affairs, Tuesday (8/3).

Representing the Minister of Social Affairs, the compensation was given by the Head of the South Sulawesi Provincial Social Service, H. A. Irawan Bintang, together with the Coordinator for Handling Social and Political Disaster Victims, Yustina Suhartiningsih.

The provision of compensation to the heirs in the amount of IDR15 million, along with food packages to the heirs, is a form of government condolences for the disaster that befell the victims.
