Teleconference for Focus Group Discussions Social Functionality Index
JAKARTA (March 26th 2020) – The Directors within the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation participated in a Social Function Index Teleconference "Focus Group Discussion" as a follow-up to a teleconference meeting Synchronizing the Ministry of Social Affairs’ Strategic Plan with the 2020-2024 RPJMN. This activity was initiated by the Directorate of Poverty Handling and Social Welfare of the Ministry of National Development Planning Board / BAPPENAS to find out the indicators, calculations and methods of the Social Function index compiled by the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, where the index is included in the RPJMN 2020-2024 target.
For information, the Social Function Index is also included in the social welfare index calculation composite that is being prepared by the Planning Bureau of the Ministry of Social Affairs in measuring the performance of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
At the end of the activity session, the Director of Poverty Handling and Social Welfare of the Ministry of National Development Planning Board / BAPPENAS, Maliki gave his appreciation to the Ministry of Social Affairs, particularly the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation for the preparation of this Social Function Index.
"Hopefully that this Index will synergize. As an intersectoral division of duties and authorities with other Ministries / Agencies, we will re-schedule the discussion on this index," said Maliki.
In addition to the Director in the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, the activity which lasted for 3 hours was attended by 44 other participants consisting of the Planning Bureau of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Secretariat of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, Data and Information Center of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Structural and Researcher in the field of Social Rehabilitation, Center for Research and Development, practitioners Social Welfare Polytechnic Bandung, Department of Statistics UNPAD, Faculty of Psychology UNPAD Bandung, Faculty of Social Welfare UNPAD Bandung, Excellent Human Resources Committee, and Faculty of Psychology Unjani Bandung.
