The Coordination of Preparations to Face the Impact of La Nina
JAKARTA (3 November 2020) - Still in anticipation of the impact of La Nina, which may result in flooding, as well as increasing the preparedness of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, the Director of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims (PSKBA), M. Safii Nasution, together with the Head of Sub-directorates (Kasubdit) PSKBA, and Deputy Aster Koppasus, Lieutenant Colonel Irfan Amir, coordinated with the City Government of South Jakarta, Tuesday (3/11).
The coordination meeting involving all levels of the City Administration and South Jakarta Sub-dept. Was chaired by the Deputy Mayor of South Jakarta, Isnawa Adji. Also attending the coordination meeting, Dandim 0504 South Jakarta, Colonel Inf. Ucu Yustiana. During the meeting, the Ministry of Social Affairs stated that it is ready to fully support the needs of the South Jakarta City Government, related to the handling of refugees and the basic needs of refugees, if the impact of La Nina results in large floods in DKI Jakarta, like in early 2020 yesterday.
