The Declaration of KSB in Gorontalo Province
GORONTALO (15 October 2020) - In order to accelerate the recovery of the community after the flash flood incident, as well as to increase community preparedness in facing potential disasters in Gorontalo Province, the Ministry of Social Affairs responded quickly by declaring a Disaster Alert Area (KSB) in Gorontalo Province.
The event was attended by the Director General of Social Protection and Security (Linjamsos), Pepen Nazaruddin, the Director of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims (PSKBA), M. Safii Nasution, the Governor of Gorontalo, H. Rusli Habibie, to the Member of Commission VIII of Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Idah Syahidah .
With the formation of KSB in Gorontalo, which is supported by the enthusiasm of the community in working together to deal with disasters, it is hoped that it can become a provision for the community in facing potential disasters.
