The Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation and Development of a Draft Presidential Regulation on Awarding Appreciation
JAKARTA (February 24th 2020) - Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Edi Suharto, accompanied by the Director of Social Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities, Margowiyono, opened and provided direction in the discussion of the Draft Presidential Regulation on Requirements and Procedures for Giving Appreciation in Respect, Protection and Fulfillment of Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Located at Harris Vertu Harmoni, this activity was attended by representatives from the State Secretariat, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Cabinet Secretariat, the Ministry of Finance, as well as internal participants from the Ministry of Social Affairs.
In his remarks, the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, Edi Suharto said, "With this Presidential Regulation, to implement the provisions of article 141 of Law No.8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities, hopefully that it can encourage the fulfillment of the rights of persons with disabilities which are our common duty, in this case all related ministries and institutions, so that we must work together in order to fulfill the rights of persons with disabilities and answer the problems faced by persons with disabilities."
