MAGELANG (20 March 2020) - During the outbreak of the Coronavirus which is very troubling for all circles, the distribution of the Groceries Program to the Beneficiary Families (KPM) in the City of Magelang continues to be carried out. The Social Service Agency together with the Regional Coordinator (Korda) of the City of Magelang and the Facilitator of Food Social Assistance monitored the distribution of the Groceries Program.

The purpose of the monitoring was to ensure the food availability distributed in e-Warong and KPM receives assistance which has risen to Rp 200,000 from March to August 2020. Besides, this event was to make sure that the KPM purchased the food by the provisions for meeting more balanced nutritional needs.

Among other activities, education was also conducted to KPM regarding the Covid-19 virus and how to prevent it. One of the steps taken by each e-Warong was providing hand wash for KPM to maintain hygienic and healthy transactions.
