The Opening of Kulon Progo KSB Development Series Activities
KULON PROGO (15 August 2020) - In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Social Affairs continues to strive to improve the preparedness of areas that are in disaster-prone areas through the Development of Disaster Preparedness Villages (KSB).
This year, Kulon Progo Regency was chosen to be the target location for the next KSB development, after the previous year's success with similar activities in Pangandaran Regency and its surroundings. The activity was opened simultaneously at four points by the Heads of Subdirectorates (Kasubdit) at the Directorate of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims (PSKBA) and was attended on a limited basis by Tagana personnel, citizen representatives and local stakeholders by complying with health protocols, Saturday (15/8).
The four points include the Bugel Disaster Alert Village (KSB) in Panjatan District which was opened by the Head of Sub-Directorate for Preparedness and Mitigation, Iyan Kusmadiana; KSB Karangwuni in Wates District was opened by the Head of Sub-Directorate for Natural Disaster Victim Management, Sunarti; KSB Glagah in Temon District, opened by the Head of Sub-Directorate for Disaster Logistics Management, Heru Cahyono; and KSB Banaran in Galur District was opened by the Head of Sub-Directorate for Social Recovery and Strengthening, Pudak Bektiwidari.
