The Public is Very Enthusiastic to Join HDI Commemoration at Pantai Panjang
BENGKULU (December 8th 2019) - The Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Mental Disabilities (BRSPDM) "Dharma Guna" in Bengkulu held an International Disability Day (HDI) activity at Pantai Panjang Plaza, Bengkulu City. This activity involved the GEN-INCLUSI Social Welfare Institution (LKS), RAFLESIA DISABILITY GROUP, TBR, Bengkulu City SLB 01, PMI, BSMI, POLSEK, and also supported by Yamaha Thamrinin Brother and Wardah Cosmetic.
Various activities were carried out in the event which started at 07.00 WIB with Morning Gymnastics, Art Performances, Exhibition of Work with Disabilities, Free Medical Examination, Blood Donation, Door Prizes and Music Entertainment.
In his opening remarks, the Head of BRSPDM "Dharma Guna" said that this activity was carried out to commemorate International Disability Day every December 3rd 2019. "By commemorating this International Disability Day we hope to be more concerned and position people with disabilities equal to other people in general so that There are no differences from each other and mutual respect and appreciation and can provide equal space and opportunities to persons with disabilities. This activity is also a place to socialize the Social Rehabilitation Program for Persons with Disabilities," said Dardi.
This activity was attended by Bengkulu figures, artists and entrepreneurs, Henderman Burhan and the Head of the Corien Center Foundation, Miswari. He both highly appreciated this activity and hoped to inspire the public and competent parties, that equal rights for persons with disabilities must be upheld.
The community was very enthusiastic about participating in the event until it was finished at 10.30 with the hope of getting a door prize provided by BRSPDM "Dharma Guna" Bengkulu, Yamaha and Wardah Cosmetic.
