BBRSPDF "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" and RRI Hold a Healthy Walk
SURAKARTA (24 November 2019) - Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Physical Disabilities (BBRSPDF) "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta in collaboration with Radio Republik Indonesia Surakarta held a Healthy Walk in the context of Commemoration of International Disability Day (HDI) 2019 in the Car Free Day Road area Brig. Gen. Slamet Riyadi, Surakarta City.
YPAC Pusat Surakarta and the Surakarta Difabel Community who are members of the Surakarta City Regional Advocacy Team (TAD) and the Community of Perkasa Figures such as Batman, Superman and Spiderman. The theme of the 2019 HDI is "Indonesia Accessible, Inclusive Indonesia".
The series of healthy walks started from the Gendengan intersection of Surakarta City with a drum band parade played by PPKS and accompanied by employees and social workers of BBRSPDF "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" and RRI Surakarta employees.
After finishing at the location, it was continued with aerobic exercise with the community at the CFD location and at the same time introducing the CFD visitors about the profile of BBRSPDF "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta. The event was very lively when PPKS and CFD visitors sang and danced together. Prize distribution was given to the community who participated in celebrating the Healthy Walk event in commemoration of the 2019 HDI in the CFD Surakarta area.
