JAKARTA (February 17th 2020) - The Director General for Poverty Handling (Dirjen PFM), Andi ZA Dulung appealed to regional heads to improve the quality of data on beneficiary families (KPM). "Updating data so that assistance is right on target and quota is fulfilled really depends on the local government," said the Director General of PFM at the National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) for Integrated Data Social Welfare for 2020 "organized by the Center for Social Welfare Data and Information (Pusdatin Kesos).

In this activity, the Director General of PFM together with the Director General of Protection and Social Security (Linjamsos), Harry Hikmat and the Director General of Social Empowerment (Dayasos), Pepen Nazaruddin became the resource persons in the panel discussion on the second day. The theme brought by the Director General of PFM was Increasing Data Quality for the Effectiveness of the Poverty Handling Program Implementation. Participants who attended the event were social agencies from all regions in Indonesia.

The Director General of PFM said that the assistance for the Basic Food Program is currently increasing from the previous IDR 110,000 / KPM / Month to IDR 150,000 / KPM / Month. He also said that the basic food assistance program was different from PKH, because PKH assistance could be saved while for basic necessities it could not be saved and had to be spent immediately. "The difference between PKH and the Staple Food Program, for the Basic Food Program, please spend the money immediately, because the BPK demands that three months must be returned to the state treasury, while PKH is indeed a saving, they can save, if this (basic food) is not savings because it is in the wallet," explained the Director General of PFM.

In addition to providing assistance for the Basic Food Program, the Director General of PFM said that empowerment is also something that is currently being focused by the Minister of Social Affairs so that KPM can graduate. "What the Minister is now focusing on is how to help them (KPM) be empowered, this is what we are currently thinking about, for those who get this assistance so that they can graduate," said the Director General of PFM.

Delivered by the Director General of PFM, one form of empowerment carried out by the PFM Directorate is the Joint Business Group (KUBE) program which is currently being carried out more intensely. "The difference between the current KUBE and the previous one, now we will be even more intense from A to Z so from the marketing, the financing, the credit we connect with KUR, with UMi, Mekaar, so we will see what difficulties you face. there we help," said the Director General of PFM

Regarding the updating of data conducted by the PFM Directorate, the Director General of PFM explained that the data taken was data from the regions in SIKS-NG which were then given to the bank for processing. "The PFM Directorate takes correct data that has been in the SK (by the head of the Regional Coordination Team) who has entered SIKS NG, so we really depend on the data of your local government, we accept what it is, then we send the data. to the bank," said the Director General of PFM.

In closing, the Director General of PFM emphasized that to be able to run the program well and achieve the expected targets, good data is also needed. "This is all we can do if our data is good. If our data is not good, this will be very difficult for us to achieve," said the Director General of PFM.
