Effective Case Response Requires Synergy and Collaboration
BUNGO (January 24st, 2020) - Case Response Team of The Center for Social Rehabilitation of Children In Need of Subsidized Rice Program (BRSAMPK) "Alyatama" Jambi which is supervised directly by the Head of Balai, Imron Rosadi, with social worker Maizon Hendri, Social Assessment and Advocacy Section Officer Dedi Irawan, 2 social workers service unit of Bungo Regency and synergizing with officers from the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of Bungo Police and Social Services Agency in district Bungo in 3 days conducted a response of 2 cases and psychotic assistance and support to the children of victims of sexual crimes and their family members.
In this case, the
team tried to keep the child as a victim from experiencing the stigma and
psychic uncomfortable and rejection of the social environment.The team also
strives to strengthen the family and try to keep the child in the care of the
core family and not necessarily be taken to an orphanage or even to BRSAMPK.
It turns out that the effort got agreement and support from families and SDM (Human Resource) local Social Welfare as well as related agencies. So far, synergy and collaboration have been established between the child protection parties in District Bungo, Jambi.
