Implementation of Social Rehabilitation will be Set in a Government Regulation
BOGOR (February 13rd 2020) - Representing the Director General of Social Rehabilitation Edi Suharto, Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation Idit Supriadi Priatna opened the Draft Government Regulation on Implementation of Social Rehabilitation at Permata Hotel, Bogor. For 3 days from 13rd to 15th February 2020.
35 participants who attended were legal experts, practitioners and academics of Social Workers from the Social Service of Bogor City, Jakarta Social Service, Ministry of Social Affairs Legal Bureau, Social Rehabilitation Center Watunas "Mulya Jaya", BRSAMPK "Handayani", BRSPDI Ciungwanara Bogor, BRSLU Budhi Dharma Bekasi, BRSKPN Galih Pakuan Bogor, POLTEKESOS Bandung and the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation.
The drafting of government regulations as a mandate from Law Number 14 of 2019 concerning Social Workers. This activity is a follow-up to the proposal from the Minister of Social Affairs to the Minister of Law and Human Rights which will include this draft government regulation in the 2020 Government Regulation Formulation Program concerning Social Workers, so that further this preparation will involve the relevant Ministries / Institutions. Said Idit.
Furthermore, Idit hopes that the formulation of this government regulation will strengthen the reinforcement of the implementation of basic social rehabilitation both inside and outside the institution which is the responsibility of the regency / city and provincial governments and strengthen the substance of the implementation of further social rehabilitation for the Ministry of Social Affairs' hall.
