Improving Social Welfare Service Recipients Social Relations through Outings
PURBALINGGA (21 November 2019) - As a form of implementation of the Progress 5.0 New Platform, the Social Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Drug Abuse (BRSKP) "Satria" in Baturraden held an outing for 15 Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS).
The excursion is part of the social rehabilitation therapy for victims of drug abuse which is carried out through learning outside the hall environment as well as a refresher for Social Welfare Service Recipients.
Activities carried out in Gowa Lawa, Purbalingga, followed by Social Welfare Service Recipients accompanied by social workers and counselors. Besides enjoying the beauty of Gowa Lawa tourism, PPKS is also invited to play some exciting games or commonly known as group dynamics. The games played include hulla hoop, ball relay, and tic tac toe. This game aims to train cooperation, understand the character of fellow PPKS, leadership, agility, and problem solving.
Group dynamics are also part of psychosocial therapy as an effort to strengthen relationships aimed at changing behaviour and supporting the recovery process for victims of drug abuse.
