CIBINONG (April 21st 2020) - Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus has stopped the learning process at BBRVPD because it does not allow learning in class and BBRVPD employees also carry out work from home, the beneficiaries of BBRVPD are sent back to their respective regions of origin, but this does not discourage learning of the beneficiaries, the Center for Vocational Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities (BBRVPD) "Cibinong" in cooperation with Bank Permata, conducted online learning (online).

The online class which presented a speaker from Thisable, Nicky Claraentia, was attended by 35 (thirty five) beneficiaries with the theme "Tips to Prepare Yourself for the Job Exchange". In the form of knowledge about what must be prepared in order to enter the world of work.

This activity is the last class of learning. Previously, the beneficiaries had received material on Financial Literacy. In the initial explanation, Nicky provides motivation for beneficiaries to dare to dream, because dreams are life to make life more vibrant.

Then, Nicky gave tips when preparing to enter the workforce. "First, prepare an attractive and straightforward Curriculum Vitae (CV)." Disability conditions are also listed, but after listing all our potential. "So not at the beginning, this is the point to change the paradigm that disability is not a barrier," continued Nicky.

Furthermore, it is necessary to know the company that will be applied, such as what company is engaged in, to the job position we are interested in. "This is necessary because it affects our readiness when we are interviewed. We can also practice answering questions so that we are better prepared," said Nicky.

Meanwhile, the Head of BBRVPD "Cibinong", Manggana Lubis welcomed this activity and hopefully that the beneficiaries who took this online learning class could participate optimally. "So, when the process of entering the workforce is ready, they will be ready. Of course, by practicing the tips that have been taught," said Manggana.

Furthermore, Manggana explained that in 2020 the Contact Center training at BBRVPD had completed the remaining material by distance learning. "This is an effort from BBRVPD to continue to provide optimal vocational rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities," concluded Manggana.
