BOGOR (January 8, 2020) - The Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Mental Disabilities (BRSPDM) of "Phala Martha" Sukabumi mobilized a Rapid Reaction Team to provide Psychosocial Support Services and Logistics Social Assistance in the form of rice, coconut oil, blankets, children's clothes, carpets, sarongs, mukena , baby diapers, soap, medicines, bags, shoes, towels and clothing suitable for the victims of the landslide in Harkat Jaya Village, Sukajaya District, Bogor Regency.
This village is one of the areas affected by landslides and floods in the District of Sukajaya, until finally the victims are forced to flee in safer places.
"Phala Martha" BRSPDM team consisting of social workers, psychologists, and nurses provide Psychosocial Support Services to disaster victims both children and adults.
Activities carried out in the form of trauma healing, group dynamics by singing together, hoolahoop games, fast and ready games, balloon games, and other games. The refugees were very enthusiastic in participating in this activity. Cheerful faces began to be drawn on their faces as though removing the sorrow that was being felt.
This activity is expected to ease the burden and sense of trauma of disaster victims in passing the post-disaster phase. May the victims of the disaster remain healthy and enthusiastic about welcoming the next day.
