Recreational Therapy: Honing Creativity and Entertainment for Children Needing Special Protection

(February 10, 2020) - The excitement and enthusiasm were evident on Children
who Needing Special Protection (AMPK) is face since the morning. Various
necessities have been put into each bag. Even one of the AMPK Center
"Alyatama" has been preparing since dawn. Of course, because today is
a routine recreation agenda for all AMPK, it is one of the most anticipated
days.
Recreational
activities are held in one of the play areas in Jambi City, namely Kampung
Rajo. This location has various vehicles that serve to train motor activities.
Like flying fox, outbound, and swimming. From 11.00 to 15.30 WIB, all AMPKs
participated in trying out various rides and had fun.
"Hopefully
we can play in a place like this often," said one AMPK who came from
Bangka Belitung.
The activity,
which is accompanied by four Social Workers and one PPNPN employee, aims to
establish and improve physical, mental and recreational freshness (both
individually and in groups) lost due to daily routine activities by seeking
pleasure ,different entertainment and activities. So it can provide
satisfaction and joy aimed at inner and outer satisfaction of AMPK.
