MUARO JAMBI (February 5, 2020) - Child victims of sexual
abuse are one of the 15 AMPK
clusters that are the target of further social rehabilitation. The presence of
the AMPK cluster certainly requires assistance in every process of social
rehabilitation services including the settlement of cases that have befallen
PPKS. One of the assistance that can be given is during the TKP processing.
The
activity of the case scene was carried out in Paal 16, Muaro Jambi Regency,
involving three police officers who were assigned to the Police Sector of Muaro
Jambi. The Social Rehabilitation Center for Children Needing Special Protection
(BRSAMPK) "Alyatama" team in Jambi which is tasked with providing
assistance, namely the Head of Assessment and Social Advocacy and accompanying
social workers.
Assistance
is provided to one of the PPKS who has experienced fornication by his
stepfather. The purpose of this assistance has 2 aspects. For child victims /
PPKS, advocacy assistance can manipulate the neglect of children's rights. For
social workers, they can gain a better understanding of the situation and
problems of children in a factual, empirical and comprehensive manner, so that
the intervention plan can be prepared by social workers appropriately.
